Tatort Münster – Propheteus

What begins as a perfectly “ordinary” murder investigation keeps expanding: Magnus Rosponi, a shopaholic, is found bludgeoned to death in his apartment.

But neither his cheerful bowling buddies nor Silke Haller—who recognizes the deceased as a childhood crush—can explain why this popular man had to die. Instead, Professor Boerne finds a strange little object in the body. Meanwhile, Thiel uncovers romantic entanglements. And when the Office for the Protection of the Constitution shows up in the form of the shady characters Muster and Mann, things take an absurd turn.

It seems Thiel and Boerne have stirred up a hornet’s nest and even attracted the attention of an assassin. But how does it all fit together? And what’s the story behind the little dog that loves to eat bananas?

The varied soundtrack complements Halfar’s dynamic direction—he most recently directed a documentary about the rock band Silly (“Frei von Angst,” 2017)—especially since the composer duo Christian Biegai and Kerim König not only capture the film’s pace but also its themes. (Tittelbach.tv)
